Today’s Lesson
Prayer Point- Lord Jesus, help me to hearken diligently to your voice and keep thy commandments and status. Save me from diseases of this land and heal me.

1. Opening
A. BIBLE PASSAGE - ISAIAH 53:1;5
B. Memory Verse - "And said, if thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and' wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statues, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26
C. Lesson Introduction - The Lord God Almighty will not allow diseases to come upon His children. He is the Lord our healer. In our study today, we want to see His promises for our healing and His methods. May the Holy Spirit continue to explain more of our God to us in Jesus' name. Amen. .

B. Teaching Objectives and Lesson Plan
i. At the end of the lesson, students should be able to understand the meaning of Jehovah Ropheka.
ii. They should also be able to discover His methods for healing His people.
To achieve these objectives, teacher explains:
i. The meaning of Jehovah Ropheka.
ii. Various methods used by the Lord to heal.
Teacher concludes by encouraging believers to take advantages of his healing promises for our healing.
C. Text Review - Isaiah 53:1-5
The following points indicate what Christ suffered for our healing:
I. He was despised and rejected of men. V.3a
ii. He was a man of sorrow and acquitted with grief. V.3b
iii. He was not esteemed; therefore, we hid our faces from him. V3c
iv. He bore our grief and carried our sorrow. V4a
v. He was afflicted, smitten and stricken of God. V4b
vi. He was wounded for our transgression. V5a
vii. He was bruised for our iniquities. V5b
viii. He was chastised for our peace. V5c
ix. He was beaten with stripes for our healing. V5a
Believing this report will go a long way healing us from different forms of diseases. V.1"who hath believed our report, the arm of the Lord is revealed."

ii. He will prevent terrible diseases from coming to His children. Psalm 103:3; Exodus

iii. Jesus bare our diseases and carried our sorrow. Matt.8: 15-17
iv. By the stripes of Jesus, we were healed. I Pet. 2:24
v. He gives healings as bread to His beloved children. Matt. 15:22-28
vi. He redeemed us from curses in order to bless and heal us. Gal. 3: 13; 3rd John 2
vii. He was anointed for the purpose of healing us (among others). Acts 10:38

ii. LESSON OUTLINE 2· HIS METHODS
i. Jesus used the word of God to heal. 2nd Kings 5:10; John 4:46-51; Matthew 8:3; Mark 5:25-29; Luke 13: 11-13; John 5:5-9
ii. Prayer- Prayer of faith can be used to obtain our healing. John 14:13-14; Matthew 18:19-20.
iii. Laying of hands to recover from sickness. Pastors or servant of God can lay hand on the sick to recover. Acts 9: 17-18; Acts 28:8
iv. Anointing the sick with oil with prayer of faith. James 5:14-15.
Class Activity1-2 - Why do a lot of people still get sick and opt for medical attention?
SUMMARY- Jesus is the ultimate healer.
CONCLUSION- Today as we have been given fresh assurance of divine healing arid health, let us take every available advantage of His promise, anointing and victory through prevailing prayers. Remember, healing and health are the children's bread.
